I was diagnosed with hearing loss myself. I know the small frustrations — the missed punchline, the coffee-shop conversation you smile through, the way "just turn up the TV" isn't a solution. I also know what happens when hearing is treated well: the world gets louder in all the right ways.
I studied Communication Disorders at LSU and earned my doctorate at Florida International University. I chose audiology because it sits at the intersection of medicine, technology, and the very human work of helping someone reconnect with their family, their music, their own voice.
Z Audiology is my answer to what I wished existed as a patient: an independent office, generous appointment times, real conversation, and technology chosen for you — not for a manufacturer's quota.
